Dr. Tamara Dildy is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician in clinical practice for over 15 years. Dr. Dildy has worked at highly respected medical facilities including Mount Sinai Medical Center, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Lennox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Dildy has held several leadership roles and during her tenure at Lennox Hill Hospital. Dr. Dildy was Director of Medical Education for the Emergency Department and Medical Director for the Pace University Physicians Assistant Program. She was also involved in performance improvement and quality initiatives to improve patient health outcomes which included development of new clinical care pathways and patient education initiatives.
Taking what she has learned on the frontlines of the emergency department, Dr Dildy has been a medical contributor for FOX News, MSNBC, CNN and CBC. Her goal is to bring facts and science to the public as useable information where the audience is empowered with information and questions to advocate and protect for their own health and for their loved ones.
In the last few years, Dr Dildy has taken a step back to focus on being present as a mother to her three children. Juggling children in remote school, social distancing/isolation and working full time as a single mother has given her additional sensitivity and perspective on the needs of families around the country doing the same. She is now returning to her passion educating patients and the public to improve health outcomes — particularly now when it can be difficult to discern fact and understand the science.
